ABOUT US: ELLIOTT V. HILL
Associate Advisor
Elliott joined Michael J. Dell'Olio & Associates in June of 2009, fresh from the University of Delaware where he studied finance. Originally hailing from Pittsburgh, Elliott and his family have been vacationing in Maine for over ten years.
From an early age, Elliott knew he wanted to pursue a career in finance. His father, Greg, worked for several financial institutions while Elliott was growing up, and often took Elliott with him on business trips. In college, Elliott managed the sales team for a local business owner. He is credited with increasing sales by 60%. During his senior year, Elliott interned at Pittsburgh law firm where he handled most of the firm's billing functions.
Elliott recently passed the NASD Series 7 and 66 exams. They are the financial industry's most rigorous tests and we are proud to have him as a newly licensed Advisor.
Elliott has an in depth knowledge of alternate investments, specifically real estate. Seeing much fluctuation and volatility in many traditional investments, Elliott took a special interest in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Elliott advocates portfolio diversity and the importance of due diligence work, believing that through thorough due diligence the right investments can be found in any market. He works hard to stay on the cutting edge of the Private Placement Sector. His appreciation of the field makes him an invaluable resource to Michael J. Dell'Olio & Associates and its clientele.
Since moving to Maine, Elliott has adopted a Golden Retriever named Brody. He and Brody enjoy spending time at the beach, walking the Eastern Trail, or just a nice game of fetch. Elliott has a passion for cooking and is an avid cigar smoker.
